Ski Tour Troll Peninsula, Iceland
Iceland is also a world-class destination for alpine ski touring and Telemark skiing, with the Troll Peninsula in Northern Iceland being the main centre of activity. With vertical descents of up to 1500m or almost 5000ft, thousands of peaks and slopes for all abilities with abundant snow fall make this a paradise for skiers and mountaineers.
The Peninsula juts north into the Arctic Ocean North West of the town of Akureyri.
