Ski or Snowboard Kiroro, Hokkaido, Japan
Kiroro Snow World is a medium sized ski resort located in Hokkaido, Japan. The resort is known for its less crowded slopes, mass amounts of snow and its tree skiing. The snow can be a little heavier then other Hokkaido resorts since the Kiroro is closer to the coast.
The resort opens earlier than most resorts in Japan and doesn’t close till late May, typically providing more then 160 days a year to be on the slopes. The resort is spread over two peaks: Nagamine and Asari.
Kiroro has modern facilities and infrastructure with 9 lifts - one a gondola and five detachable high speeds (with hoods to keep warm).
