Skydance pedestrian bridge at Oklahoma city.
Inspired by Oklahoma’s state bird, the scissor-tailed flycatcher, Skydance bridge soars over Interstate 40. The bridge is a 380-foot-long pedestrian bridge with a 197-foot-tall sculpture.
Access to the bridge via either downtown I-40 exit at Western Avenue or Robinson/Shields Avenue. From the Western Avenue exit, head east on SW 5th Street to Harvey Avenue and then south to SW 7th Street. From Robinson/Shields Avenue exit, head south to SW 10th Street, then head west to Harvey Avenue.
The bridge is illuminated from dusk until dawn each day with LED lights and is changed remotely, depending on the event, or holiday.
