Slide down Rere Rock Slide, New Zealand
Rere Rock Slide is located outside the town of Rene in New Zealand. It has been included in the NZ Automobile Association's 101 Must-do places for Kiwis.
The slide is a smooth, natural rock formation 60m long, at an angle of about 30°, over which the Wharekopae River rushes like water in a giant water slide. With a little care, it can be slid down on boogie boards, tyres and the likes.
The slide is located approximately 50 kms from Gisborne on the Wharekopae Road - west of Eastwoodhill Arboretum.
