Snorkel Trunk Bay Underwater Park Trail, St John, USVI

The Trunk Bay Underwater Trail is a 225-yard, self-guiding snorkeling trail marked by underwater signs that identify coral reef life. The Trail is in relatively shallow water and most appropriate for its cultural and historical significance. There's also a small land mass about 50 yards off the beach that has a great coral reef with thousands of fish and different types of marine life. The unique below the surface trail helps snorkelers understand what they are viewing in the underwater world. Near the Trunk Bay lifeguard stand is a gathering spot for weekly guided snorkeling trail excursions. These guided tours are great for first time snorkelers. The trail is within the Virgin Islands National Park.
