Located just an hour and a half from Naples, Italy in the heart of the small Italian fishing town of Positano on the Amalfi coast is the La Sirenuse Hotel. This former summer home was transformed into a 5-star luxury boutique hotel maintaining all the charm and elegance of a family home. The hotels many balconies feature postcard perfect views of the deep blue sea hugging the coastline and the hillside town of Positano. Although the hotel has the look and feel of an 18thcentury villa, the spa features a state of the art design. In 2000, the Aveda Concept Fitness and Beauty Center opened in the Le Sirenuse. The spa features two treatment rooms (one is large enough to accommodate a couple), a heated outdoor pool, a sauna, a bio-sauna, a steam room, an indoor plunge pool, and a workout area. Among the treatments offered is aqua therapy, which is an entirely unique experience. Guests are placed on hydrothermal massage cushions filled with hot water creating the ultimate environment for relaxation. Before starting any facial guests are given a footbath, a great way to sooth sore feet obtained from walking up and down the hill to the town center. All treatments conclude with a glass of juice or a cup of herbal tea. Spa Hours: Dailly from 8am to 8pm.
