This adventure resort with activities from white-water rafting to rock climbing is 9 miles from the New River Gorge Convention and Visitors Center.Accommodations range from cabins with satellite TV, hot tubs and kitchens to campsites with family tents. Bunkhouses with electricity and camp mattresses (no linens provided) are also available.Amenities include a lakeside smokehouse for meals (kids 5 and under eat free with a paying adult) and a bar/grill that sometimes showcases live music.
