This upscale secluded lodge in Custer State Park Resort is 5 miles from both Mount Coolidge and Hazelrodt Picnic Area, and 8 miles from the historic site Gordon Stockade. The polished cabins feature rustic decor and are equipped with flat-screen TVs, coffeemakers and 2-burner stoves, as well as minifridges, fire pits and picnic tables. Some cabins add full kitchens and fireplaces.There's a ranch-style restaurant with a terrace, plus a general store with gas pumps. Activities include nightly hay wagon rides and cook-outs, as well as horseback riding (fees).
