On a 2,800-sq-km wilderness resort in the Kimberly, these low-key bungalows on the Pentecost River are 58 km from Great Northern Highway. The simple air-conditioned bungalows provide en suite bathrooms and furnished verandahs, some with river views. There's an adjacent campsite.There's a grocery store, a restaurant on the river, and an open-air grill/bar; breakfast is offered for a fee. Other amenities include a swimming hole. Resort activities consist of helicopter and plane excursions, fishing, horseback riding, and tours of waterfalls and caves, as well as self-guided hikes and 4WD excursions.
