Set in a revamped 1930s' motor lodge, this hip hotel is in the heart of SoCo with its buzzy bars and music venues. Concrete-floored minimalist rooms and suites feature ethnic fabrics, handmade furniture, free WiFi, TVs and minibars. Some rooms have en suite bathrooms, others share facilities. Larger rooms share patio seating areas, while suites have outdoor porches or garden decks.There’s a leafy courtyard bar offering light snacks with occasional DJs or jazz, plus a wading pool. Breakfast (for a surcharge) can be served in-room or in the courtyard. Jo's shack, in the hotel parking lot, serves coffee and snacks to guests and locals.
