Lizzie Borden B&B, Fall River, Massachusetts
View Original Description
On August 4, 1892, someone killed Mr. and Mrs. Borden with a hatchet as they were in their home. Lizzie Andrew Borden, the daughter of Mr. Borden and stepdaughter to Mrs. Borden, was tried and acquitted in the murders. The case was a cause célèbre throughout the United States and despite her acquittal, Borden remains a notorious figure in American folklore. No one else was charged, and speculation on the case continues to this day.
Paranormal recordings turn up creepy findings at this place all the time.
Since the murders the house has been a private residence. Now for the first time the public is allowed not only to view the murder scene, but is given an opportunity to spend a night (if you dare) in the actual house where the murders took place.
