The Kettle House, Galveston, Texas
View Original Description
Galveston's famous Kettle House is a renovated 1960's home originally built as a steel storage tank. It was built as a steel storage tank, for an oil and gas company but was never used. The welder who worked on it, bought it and moved it and hoped to turn it into a convenience store. It's now a home with foam insulation, central AC, and a large deck great for relaxing.
