Surf Surfers Point at Margaret River, Australia
The Margaret River area has acquired a range of synonyms for the collection of surf breaks nearby. Usually significant surfing competitions concentrate their locale toMargarets Main Break(aka Surfers Point) which breaks in the vicinity of Prevelly at the mouth of Margaret River. Surfers Point is home to the International Drug Aware Pro Margaret River presented by O'Neill, which is usually held around March-April.
The swells here are consistent year round due to the notorious Roaring Forties that generate swells soming from thousands of kilometres of uninterrupted seas between Australia and Africa. The result is some of the most consistent, spectacular, high-quality surf anywhere on earth.
