Surf Playa Esterillos, Costa Rica

Plata Esterillos is an long beach 7 km long golden sand beach forming a line of tropical forest mainly composed of palm trees and almond trees. It is divided into three sections: Esterillos Este, Esterillos Centro and Esterillos Oeste in the west which is commonly known as Bejuco among the locals. Playa Esterillos, especially Oeste, is gradually becoming a popular choice among surfers of all levels.
