Surf Tobago Island, Trinidad and Tobago
Mount Irvine Bay is the best spot on Tobago Island in Trinidad and Tobago to surf. When the swell is big at Mount Irvine it's massive – 3 to 4 metres backs. Only experienced surfers should head out when it's big due to shallow, coral bottom. On the other side of the bay, "Lefts" is another popular spot and, with its sandy bottom, is a lot more forgiving.
