Swim in Cenote Cristalino, Mexico
Cenote Cristalino is located in Quintana Roo, Mexico. These swimming holes are actually sinkholes filled with freshwater. Ancient Maya believed them to be sacred passageways to the land of the dead.
This cenote is about 100 yds off the main hwy 307 with entrance fee of 100 pesos. It is located west side of the highway south of Playa del Carmen, just past Esencia (almost in front of Barcelo Maya Beach Resort).
