Tour Anatakitaki Kopeka Bird Caves, Atiu, Cook Island
The Anatakitaki Caves are home to the Kopeka Birds, unique to Atiu. This swift like bird nests deep within the caverns and navigates in the dark by using an echo locating series of clicks. The journey to the Anatakitaki caves in Atiu involves climbing over Makatea (old coral).
The Kopeka cave tour also features a candle light swim in an underground pool.
