Trek to Petra Through the Back Door, Jordan
Created and designed by Adventure Jordan President & Founder, Yamaan Safady, is a 50 mile Trek to Petra that takes 5-6 days through Jordan’s most remote and beautiful landscape. Camp under the stars, dine on traditional Jordanian cuisine, explore the flora and fauna of Jordan. From the ancient city of Dana, the route leads down to the Feynan Eco-Lodge before crossing the vast arid expanse of Wadi Araba before climbing into the Sharah Mountains past iconic oasis and Bedouin camps toward Petra itself.
The final day of this exclusive “Trek to Petra” ends at Petra through a remote entrance, avoiding the crowds of the main gate. Giving you a unique first impression of one of the World’s New Seven Wonders of the World.
The best time to go is October through April.
