Hukilau Cafe is a very small mom & pop hole in the wall diner located in a neighborhood in Laie on the island of Oahu, Hawaii - directly across the street from Hukilau Beach. The cafe is cash only.
Most people have heard about Hukilau Cafe one of two ways: Man vs Food or 50 First Dates.
There is no parking lot, so you find what you can on the streets.
Loco moco is a traditional meal in the cuisine of Hawaii. There are many variations, but the essential loco moco consists of white rice, topped with a hamburger patty, a fried egg, and brown gravy.
