Visit Al-Ghat Heritage Village, Al-Ghat, Saudi Arabia
Al-Ghat or Elghat "Alghat" is a small town in Riyadh Province, Saudi Arabia. It is located 230 kilometres (140 mi) by road northwest of Riyadh. It is close to Qassim Province is one of the largest and best conserved traditional villages of Saudi Arabia. Located on the northern bank of the Wadi Al-Ghat the heritage village stretches over 1,5 kilometers.
The regular presence of water in Al-Ghat made its soil fertile and still today many farms produce delicious dates.
