Visit American Lighthouse Foundation’s Interpretive Center, Maine
The American Lighthouse Foundation (ALF) is a non-profit organization founded in 1994 with a primary mission of lighthouse preservation. The Interpretive Center is located at Owls Head Light Station, which provides information on which lighthouses you can visit and, in some cases, even spend the night.
A visit to the interpretive center will allow you to learn about lighthouses, while you take a quick journey through their heyday and see why preserving them allows for an experience today
