Visit Ancient Tea Plantations of Jingmai Mountain in Pu'er, China (UNESCO site)
The Jingmai Manjing Mountains are located in southern Yunnan, a few hours north of Xishuangbanna. Tea is a huge part of the culture and economy of the region. The property is a tea production area comprised of traditional villages within old tea groves surrounded by forests and tea plantations. Puer, green and limited white teas are produced here.
It inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List on 17 September, 2023 during the 45th session of the World Heritage Committee in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
