Visit Awahua Beach, Molokai, Hawaii

The black sand Awahua Beach on Molokai is located on the island’s northern Kalaupapa Peninsula. This beach is one of the most secluded in Hawaii due to its difficult accessibility. To get there either hike or take a mule and it must be through a tour group because it passes through the historic leprosy colony. It's also possibe to see the beach from a public lookout that is located next to the trailhead, 1,664 feet (507 m) above the peninsula.
