Visit Calvário de Arouca, Púlpito de Arouca, Portugal

Arouca Calvary, built on a rocky massif to the north of the village of Arouca, is made up of six seventeenth-century cruises, a pulpit and a granite niche. The central (restored) cruise dates from 1627 inscribed on the pedestal, and the pulpit, in turn, is dated 1643. The Procissão dos Fogaréus (Bonfire Procession), happening on the Wednesday evening before Easter, in which Christ has climbed the Calvary to be crucified.
