Cat Harbor (Catalina Harbor) is Catalina’s most protected harbor, as well as one of two U.S. Coast Guard-designated “Year-round Safe Harbor” in Southern California.

Ballast Point, a natural sand spit, extends across a portion of the Harbor entrance. From the dock, it’s a half-mile walk on flat terrain to the village of Two Harbors.
There is a public dinghy dock, on-shore picnic facilities, and free pump-out services for Cat Harbor boaters. Limited shoreboat summer weekend service in Cat Harbor (no winter service).

Mooring Reservations are available for coming weekend. The reservation system opens on Thursday evenings at 10 PM and will be available until the following Monday. This system can be used for the coming weekend only. Any requests for dates outside of this window will need to be submitted the Thursday evening just preceding your visit.
