Cemetery of El Campo Santo, San Diego, California
View Original Description
Small burial ground & historical landmark established in 1849, with interpretive signs. There are 477 bodies buried here and not all of them retain their tomb. One fun thing is that when the town was expanding they basically reclaimed parts of the cemetery. When you go look at the sidewalk around the area and you'll see the tiny gold 'grave site' markers.
Walk on the sidewalk and street directly outside and look for grave markers.
