Visit Cherry Cove, Catalina Island, California

Cherry Cove is the next cove over from Fourth of July Cove on Catalina Island, 0.5 miles west of Isthmus Cove. Popular day anchorage for yachts using the facilities at Isthmus Cove (Two Harbors). Moorings: 99 Anchorages: deep water anchorages (100 feet) Lion’s Head is a point on the north side of the cove and protects the cove from the prevailing afternoon winds. On shore there is a Boy Scout camp and up the nearby canyon are large groves of Catalina cherry trees and Ironwoods. Two Harbors' shore boat service is available year-round in Isthmus Cove, Fourth of July Cove, Cherry Cove and the anchorage (more limited service in the winter). The shore boat monitors VHF channel 09, which is the best way to request a pick-up. If you have no radio, call 310.510.4254 during business hours. At night, use a flashlight or your voice, being very careful not to catch the driver in the eyes or disrupt your neighbors. 7 AM to 2 AM Daily in the summer 8 AM to 5 PM Daily in the winter. The Boy Scout camp leases the on-shore facilities. The nearby canyon are large groves of Catalina cherry trees and Ironwoods. The reservation system opens on Thursday evenings at 10 PM and will be available until the following Monday. This system can be used for the coming weekend only.
