Kayak or SUP at City of Coronado Boathouse, Coronado, California
The City of Coronado Boathouse is a bayfront facility at the South End of Glorietta Bay Park, featuring instructional programs for kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, and rowing. The Boathouse also offers programs and fitness classes as well as kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and rowing shells rentals. There is limited space available to store personal paddling vessels.
It is recommended to make a reservation prior to visiting the facility. Please make an online reservation, email the Boathouse, or call 619-522-2655 for more information. For questions about Club Room rentals, please email the Rentals Team or call 619-522-2641.
Please note: The Boathouse operates on a reservation-based schedule. To ensure staffing and availability, the Boathouse will close early if there are no reservations in the system. We encourage guests to make reservations in advance to guarantee access to equipment and services.
Weather: The Boathouse may close if winds exceed safe operating limits or the weather conditions become unsafe for on-water activities. We actively monitor the forecast and will send out alerts with any changes to the schedule.
