Visit Club Ed Movie Set (Bob's Hi-Way Service), Lancaster, California

Bob's Hi-Way Service looks like a derelict-looking gas station that's actually part of the "Club Ed" movie set, on the back roads of the Mojave desert in Southern California. Club Ed is a movie set in the high desert that was built in 1990 for the Dennis Hopper film "Eye of the Storm". After the movie's shooting was complete, the crew felt that the classic Route 66 set was too good to tear down and so Club Ed was born and named after Ed who was the caretaker.
