Visit Coronado Star Park, Coronado, California
Located just a block away from the beach and Ocean Boulevard, this half-acre park offers benches, trees and various historical military installations.
The annual Memorial Day celebration takes place at this location as well as a portion of MotoCars on Mainstreet.
It is accross from the historic home of L. Frank Baum, author of The Wizard of Oz (the Emerald City is often rumored to be modeled after Coronado Island!) is Star Park.
This is a great park for a smaller picnic, tai chi or reading. It’s also very close to the beautiful Coronado Beach and many lovely Coronado homes.
Permits for events of up to 75 may be obtained by submitting the above Park and Beach Application.
