Visit Deer Stone Monuments of Mongolia, (UNESCO Sites)

Deer stones (also known as reindeer stones) are ancient megaliths carved with symbols found largely in Siberia and Mongolia. The main Bronze Age monuments in Mongolia are khirgisuurs, petroglyphs, stone sculptures such as deer stones and burial sites. The Bronze Age funeral practice, sacrificial ritual and ideology and animal style art, which were spread among ancient nomads, are all together represented through deer stones. It inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List on 17 September, 2023 during the 45th session of the World Heritage Committee in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
