The Dittert Site is an ancient Anasazi ruin archaeological dig. Sometime between A.D. 1000 and1300, the Dittert Site was built and occupied by the Anasazi people, who were the ancestors of modern Pueblo Indian people.
The site is protected by the Bureau of Land Management. Picking up and taking pottery is strictly prohibited.
Please follow Leave no Trace Rules. Preserve this historic site for future generations.
