Visit Glass Window Bridge, Eleuthera Island, Bahamas

The Glass Window Bridge is one of Eleuthera's more popular attractions. Many times referred to as the “narrowest place on Earth”, the bridge is located just North of Gregory Town on the Northern end of Eleuthera Island. This is the narrowest point in eluthera, the island is about 80mi long, and here its about 20 ft wide. On the left is the choppy Atlantic, rough from the cold front that blew through, on the right is the placid Caribbean, unaffected b/c if the island bloacking the wind. There are no rivers in The Bahamas. In March 2018, waves breaking over cliffs near the Glass Window Bridge in Eleuthera caused a flow of water across the island that washed out the Queens Highway, and was temporarily called a new river. There are also many tidal creeks, which resemble rivers.
