Camp at Government Wash, Nevada
Government wash is a free boondocking (dry camping) area for cars, tents and RVs right next to Lake Mead, offering great views of the lake, plenty of space and a 15-minute drive to Henderson, Nevada. The road in is mostly gravel, but shouldn’t pose a problem for most rigs. The boat ramp is closed due to low lake levels.
TIPS:
Dumpsters and restrooms located at the entrance and at nearby paid campgrounds
Bring your own shade
Access to the water for kayaking and swimming
Dog-Friendly Area
Good Cell Service
