Visit Grain de Sable, Bonifacio, Corsica

The Grain of sand (literally "the big finger"), is a stack of Bonifacio in Corse-du-Sud. It is one of the major tourist attractions of the city with all the cliffs and the staircase of the King of Aragon. More or less cylindrical limestone block at the base a little narrowed by the work of erosion of the waves, erected a little away from the cliffs, it is integrated into the program of sea trips offering its approach to the curious who come to check if its size, seen from the water level, is compatible with the impression they had of it when discovering it from the belvedere of the citadel, near the St-Roch Chapel.
