Visit Iditarod Trail Race Headquarters and Museum, Wasilla, Alaska
The Iditarod Trail Race Headquarters and Museum is located in Wasilla, Alaska. The museum is in a log cabin with trophies, photos & videos of dog sledding, plus a gift shop & rides.
The race begins on the first Saturday in March each year and ends when the last musher reaches Nome. The race runs from Anchorage to Nome.
