Inneston was gypsum mining town now a ghost town. The ruins of the stables used for the horses which pulled the trains to sTenhouse Bay. The town closed 1930 and is now in Innes National Park.
The Inneston Gypsum Complex and the Stenhouse Bay Jetty are associated with the mining of gypsum at the former town of Inneston and Stenhouse Bay are listed on the South Australian Heritage Register.
