Visit Isla de Pinel (Pine Island), Saint Martin
Pinel Island is a popular day trip for people staying on the island of Sint Maarten / Saint Martin. Boats leave from French Cul de Sac. It is often overrun with crowds, but tranquility is restored after 4:30pm when the last ferry leaves.
The island is included in the St Maarten National Marine Park.
The shuttle boats to Pinel Island make the return trip every 30 minutes, every day. The crossing only takes 5 minutes. It’s easy to find a space on the large parking lot in front of the Cul-de-Sac jetty. You can leave your vehicle for the whole day.
