Visit Kata-Tjuta Dunes Viewing Area, Uluru-Kata Tjuṯa National Park, Northern Territory, Australia

It's a short walk to the lookout for a breathtaking view of the grassy hills and valleys that surround Kata Tjuta’s domes. The Kata Tjuta dune viewing area can be crowded at sunrise but is usually quiet at sunset. From this vantage point, sunlight doesn’t hit the domes directly at sunrise or sunset, which can make them appear quite dark. Uluru is visible in the distance. The sun will rise to the right or left of the rock (depending on the time of year), which guarantees a beautiful shot with a long lens.
