Visit Kathu Shrine, Phuket, Thailand

Kathu Shrine is known as the home of Vegetarian Festival held in Phuket. It is said that once, Chinese visitors came to town and they suddenly got ill. They realised they haven't kept their diet and therefore they decided to get back to it - to the amaze of the locals, everyone got better. Locals decided to carry on the vegetarian diet every now and then which became a famous festival of Phuket.
