Visit Kiep Bac Temple, Hai Phong, Vietnam
This temple complex venerating 13th-century general Tran Hung Dao has a popular annual festival. The Kiep Bac Temple area is located near Luc Dau Giang, where six rivers converge: Cau River, Thuong River, Luc Nam River, Duong River, Kinh Thay River and the main branch of Thai Binh River.
The Kiep Bac temple area is a fertile valley surrounded on three sides by the Dragon Mountain range, and on one side by Luc Dau Giang. The mountains form the shape of a dragon and a tiger, while the river forms a spacious hall. In front of the temple is a large gate with three majestic and massive entrances.
