Visit Kungkalanayi Lookout, Purnululu National Park, Western Australia
Lookout with panoramic 360 degree views of the western escarpment of the Bungle Bungle Range.
Located 2.5km from the visitor centre, Kungkalanayi Lookout provides awesome views of the Bungle Bungle’s western face and the spinifex covered limestone ridge. At sunset, these blaze in brilliant reds and yellows against a backdrop of purple hues from the evening sky.
It is an easy 500 m, 30 minute return walk to the lookout from the car park. This is a great place to orientate yourself in the park landscape. There are several seats at the top of the lookout and a toilet is situated in the car park.
