La Tete Carrée Library is one of the iconic attractions in Nice, France. Also known as 'thinking inside the box'. The Square Head is a monumental sculpture 30 m high. It consists of a cubic part 14 m on each side housing the offices of the Louis-Nucéra library on seven floors, supported by the bottom of a gigantic aluminum bust stretched on frames, composed of holes four millimeters on each side, sandblasted to obtain a matte effect, pale gray in color to harmonize with the marble walls of the MAMAC. This bust is truncated at the mouth.
The building is located at the north corner of the Promenade des Arts , at the intersection of Avenue Saint-Jean-Baptiste and Traverse Barla.
