Visit Lahaina Jodo Mission, Lahaina, Hawaii
The Lahaina Jodo Mission is a Japanese Buddhist temple featuring one of the largest statues of Buddha outside of Asia. The impeccable grounds also feature a replica of the original wooden temple and a 90-foot-tall pagoda.
Many of the temple's buildings were damaged or destroyed in the 2023 Hawaii wildfires, though the Amida Buddha statue survived.
