Visit Lake Dobson, Mount Field National Park, Tasmania

Wallabies, wombats and echidnas are commonly seen, and platypus are present in Lake Dobson. Species that are either extinct or endangered on the Australian mainland, such as the eastern quoll and the eastern barred bandicoot, are also found here. This area also protects a wide range of birds, from small, flitting forest birds to conspicuous cockatoos and wedge-tailed eagles.
