LEGOLAND California is a specifically designed themed amusement park for children ages 2-12, planned to immerse children in the creative world of LEGO. With more than 60 rides, shows and attractions, it's an interactive, hands-on experience primarily for families with children. There are more than 22,000 Lego models in the park created from more than 57 million LEGO bricks (developed and sold worldwide by the DUPLO Company of Denmark). These models range from a Brontosaurus dinosaur formed from more than 2 million LEGO bricks to a tiny rabbit in a magician's hat in a Mini Las Vegas made of just four Lego bricks. Replicas of famous sites (Hollywood Bowl, Washington, D.C., New York’s Central Park, etc.) are created from LEGOs throughout the park. Adults enjoy the larger LEGO block creations, the model cities in Miniland and the simulated factory tour.
