Visit
Los Angeles (LA), California
View Original Description
The glitz and glamour of Hollywood is one of the main reasons people visit Los Angeles (a.k.a. LA), but the city has a lot more to offer. There is plenty of culture to be found at one of over 800 museums, but if you only have time to see one check out the Getty. LA is also home to world-class shopping in popular areas like Robertson Boulevard, Santa Monica’s Montana Avenue, and Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice, and of course the one street that shouldn’t missed (if only to do some window shopping): Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
If you’re looking for a more laid back experience be sure to drive over the hill to the beaches of Malibu. There you’ll find delicious dining and a beautiful coastline. Since cars are a big part of the LA culture, experience LA like a local and take a drive down the Pacific Coast Highway and stop to see people working out at Venice’s Muscle Beach and the amusements at Santa Monica Pier.
