Visit Maeklong Railway “Folding Umbrella” Market, Thailand
Located at Thailand's Maeklong Railway Station, the popular travel attraction is set up on both sides of a 100-meter stretch of train track. Eight times every day, the market vendors have to move back their goods and close their umbrellas in order to let the Maekong-Ban Laem train pass. It is one of the largest fresh seafood markets in Thailand.
Maeklong Railway Market is located in Samut Songkhram, about 80 Km South-west of Bangkok.
