Visit Mangawhai Beach & Mangawhai Heads, Northland, New Zealand
Mangawhai Heads is a township in Northland, New Zealand at the north end of Mangawhai Harbour. The two beaches have quiet swimming and there is kayaking in the estuary and harbour.
The harbour is bordered by large sand dunes, part of which are protected for rare birds. The Dunes can be visited with DOC notices to guide you away from nesting sites.
