Visit Mariposa Grove Museum (Mariposa Grove Cabin), Mariposa Grove, Yosemite National Park, California

The Mariposa Grove Museum, also known as the Mariposa Grove Cabin, is a large cabin built in 1930. It sits in the shadow of two prominent giant sequoia trees: General Grant and General Sheridan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. Galen Clark was one of the first managers of the Yosemite National Park. He would stay in a cabin like this for a few months each year. The museum features numerous historic photographs and details the history of Mariposa Grove. Restrooms are inside.
